A Chance for Special Needs Children

Donation protected
My name is Peter. I am 11 years old. I was in Elementary School for 4 years - 2 years in Class 1 and 2 years in Class 2. I couldn't read or write. The teacher told me not to come anymore, so I stayed home while my brothers and sisters went to school. They say I am different. After staying home for a year, they took me to a place called Centre Acchieve. Here, I can understand what the teacher is saying, and I even learned the whole alphabet. I can dress myself and do other things I could not do before because the teacher explains them to me. Soon, I am going to learn to make sandals. I am happy.
But I am also sad. Everyday, somebody comes to ask if they too can bring their child to the centre, but the teacher says there is no more space. The kind ladies who built this place are looking for money to build, so that more kids have a chance to come here. How I wish that money was available and these kids can be happy as I am.

P.S.
The story of Peter is true, though his name has been changed to conceal his identity. Centre Acchieve is in Warri, the heart of Delta in Nigeria. It is presently serving 22 children with various disabilities. The centre is in urgent need of additional buildings to give more children like Peter an opportunity to get the special education they need. Please consider contributing towards our initial goal of 45,000 Euros for  the foundations of 3 new buildings to serve 50 additional children.
