Abroad- Global Entrepreneurship

Hi everyone, my name is Spencer (a Sophomore in High School) Recently, I was accepted into studying abroad this summer in Berlin, Germany.
For 3 weeks, I will study global entrepreneurship. While working directly with local people behind small businesses in communications, life sciences, environmental sciences, renewable energy, media, music and more. During my stay, I will live in the dorms on a college campus among international university students.
Classes will be held at their Global Institute.
Outside of class time, we'll visit:
*German Bundestag and watch the decision making of politicians through a glass roof.
*Tour the Olympic Stadium
*Tour the Babelsberg Film Studio
*Take a solemn tour of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
*Visit the city of Potsdam with its castle and palace gardens .
I qualified for a scholarship, but there are a few things that were not included. We are asking for your financial support.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I don’t want to miss out, because of my Mom's financial restraints.
Achievements and hobbies:
*Fall of 2017-18, as I enter my Sophomore year of high school, My list of achievements are endless as I continue to soar while maintaining a 3.9 accumulated GPA
*German Club
*On line Editor- Wenatchee Apple Leaf
(Local High School Newspaper)
*Model United Nations
Represented
Sweden in the E.U. 2017
Lithuania in the E.U. 2018
* Presidents Education Award for outstanding academics 2016 (top 10% in the nation)
* Numberous "Math Counts" awards 2015 - State level.
*Academic clubs include, The Apple Leaf (Editor), German Club, Deca, and Robotics.
*Attended summer educational camps at Central Washington University:
2016 Biotechnology
2017 Astrobiology
2017 Anaylize This (computer science and statistics)
As education is of imprortance, I have taken full advantage of growing up in the PNW. My personal hobbies include skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding.
