Cement for Basketball Court

Donation protected
Hey guys! It is kind of surreal that I returned from Namibia December 2017 and I am still in contact and feel so connected to the school. My colleagues became my sisters/brothers and the learners were the reason I stayed away from home for so long. Their bright smiles and resilience made me want to give them the world. Of course, one can only do so much and work little by little the best they can! As you most likely know I was extremely involved in developing the sports facilities at Enguwantale Combined School in their village. I consistently encouraged learners to have a healthy/balanced life with sports and school and we made a lot of progress there. Sometimes progress was slow and I would get frustrated, but I had to realize things do not move as fast there(especially compared to NYC). My colleague, Nico, did a wonderful job in constructing the hoops with the money raised prior. However, the next step in making the basketball courts at the school is the cement, considering its all dirt and we need the ball to bounce! I am not sure how long it will take but I know it will get done. I will do my best to encourage them to move the process as fast as possible. I transferred my colleague $300 USD with a $29 transaction fee to be able to complete the project. I was hoping to get a small donation from you to be a part of the cause! I do not want anyone to donate more than $10. I think it would be nice if everyone just pitched in that little bit, $1-$10, nothing to break the bank. Thanks for all your love and support I could not be happier this is still continuing on without my physical presence there!
