Celebrating my Netflix deal - and my birthday!

After many years of hard work, my screenwriting career is finally taking off.  I've developed a WWII docu-series that Netflix just bought, my drama series is about to be shopped around in Hollywood, and I have two feature films in active development with incredible directors.  It's my time!

My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to have a blowout celebration, but the thing is, I'm really tight on funds. All these projects are really cool, but they're not generating any income yet, so I'm still slaving away at very low-paying writing jobs that barely pay the bills.  It's exhausting, and sometimes more than a little scary.

Kurt Vonnegut once famously said, "Talent is extremely common. What is rare is the willingness to endure the life of the writer."  Amen to that. It's very empowering to be your own boss.  It's been a long, slow slog paying my dues for the last ten years, but I'm finally reaching the finish line. 

I haven't honored myself like this in more years than I care to admit, and I want to do that now.  I'd be humbled, honored and incredibly grateful if you could help me celebrate.  Any donation big or small would be appreciated.  I'd like to send a message to the universe that I deserve abundance!
