Celebrating Gala's Life

Imagine the horror if G-d forbid you are diagnosed with an untreatable form of breast cancer at 39 years old.  You stay strong but are terrified of imagining your husband without a wife and your young sons without a mommy.  You stay strong and start the battle treated with chemo, but you don't win the war. 

At 41 years old Gala was tragically taken from this world.  It's a terrible loss for her wonderful husband and two young boys 9 and 5, her family, friends and really anyone who came in contact with her beautiful vibrant personality which spread smiles. Words cannot express our sorrow.

Gala's close friends have decided to do something that Gala would want to be done if she was here. We have decided to start a campaign and raise as much money as possible to help her husband and the boys cover immediate expenses as it's now only one income.   A gesture we think will honor her memory. 

Friends, we ask everyone to celebrate her life, and please contribute to the Gala's memorial fund to help her husband cover the various expenses he now has to face for their kids.  Let's keep the candle lit in our hearts and minds forever, and let her boys feel the true generosity of everyone who loved our darling, beautiful Galachaka.
