Celebrating Emily Byrne 1st Liverversary

On the 11th January 2020 we are holding a family fun day/fundraiser to celebrate Emily Byrne's 1st Liverversary raising much needed finds for the Paediatric Department Cork University Hospital and Bumbleance, both of whom have been a huge part of out lives with the last 2 1/2 years.  This will be a massive celebration of friendship, family, community and most of all a celebration of life and that of our gorgeous, lively, fun loving 2 1/2 year old girl, who might not be here with us today only for the amazing living donation by our fantastic friend John Fenton. In 2017 at only 3 months of age Emily was diagnosed with a rare liver disease and since then up until her transplant in January 2019 she has spent most of her time in cork university hospital, Crumlin children hospital and Kings College hospital London.  In January 2019 in Kings College Hospital Emily received her living donar transplant from John when she was just a day short of being 19 months old. While Emily was enduring a total of 11 procedure (some life threatening) she was separated from her older brother Cormac who will be 4 next month so this FUNDRAISER and Family FUN day is truly a celebration of what we have come through and to say thanks (publically and financially) to two of the charities who have helped us through all of this.  We would be extremely grateful if you would consider making a donation to support this day. We are selling raffle tickets with a large amount of prizes from family passes to hampers, to clothing vouchers to pottery, to meal voucher, to a hotel stay and even passes for a guided tour and afternoon tea for lismore castle which cannot be bought by the public. Send me you name and number to be included in the raffle along with a donation. Raffle tickets are €2 per stip or 3 strips for €5. There will also be a ticket given to each child that attends on the day and a kids raffle will be held each 1/2 hour. We will have a bouncy castle, music, cake sale, and a mens wax on the day. Keep an eye on Emily Byrne Facebook page for any last minute additional information. Most men are doing a leg wax however so far we have one chest wax.
