An Opportunity To Better A Life
Donation protected
Please understand that I am NOT looking for a handout but the opportunity to better mine and my families life. If you can find it in your heart to help me make a new start and to hopefully become financially independent of any state aid, I would so appreciate it. It would be a dream come true.
I was in a car accident in 2008 that left me bedridden and dependent upon a wheelchair. I was told I would never walk again, there was nothing that could be done, and to just accept it. I REFUSED to accept it, and I fought to walk again! At first, I fell A LOT, but by 2012, I was walking on my own. I’m still in pain every day, my legs still give out on me sometimes while walking, and I can’t lift more than 10 lbs., so working a regular job is out of the question. I don’t take pain medication since I want my mind as clear to think as possible. I’m on SSI, but I want my independence! I love cooking! I’m a very good, creative cook. I love creating new recipes! I am compiling my recipes and cooking tips into a cookbook, but it is difficult because my laptop computer (the only one I have) is more than 8 years old and sometimes shuts off without notice, deleting my work. So here’s my request: I need a new laptop and software to complete the cookbook, and I need a KitchenAid mixer and microwave for my kitchen to expedite my cooking tasks. Please help me regain my self-sufficiency – I don’t want to be on SSI for the rest of my life! I want to make a living on my own and be proud of how I earn my money. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated, and I will be forever thankful for your compassion and generosity.
