CD of New Horn Compositions

I am recording my first horn CD, which will consist of several of my own compositions.  

These pieces fill significant gaps in the horn repertoire: 

-20 challenging contemporary horn duets (no page turns required)
-several short openers/closers
-a virtuosic composition for low horn
-a horn version of "Carnival of Venice"

Several of these pieces also expand the technical capacity of the horn, and this includes an  unprecedented use of extended techniques, particularly multiphonics.

I have been practicing this music for several months, and have spectacular musicians lined up to collaborate with me on these recordings.  However, I have only managed to save enough money for a small portion of what I would like to ultimately be able to record.

Funds will primarily be used for paying performers and the recording engineer:

If the $1,000 goal is reached, I will be able to record a full 70 minute CD of music.  Any additional funding raised will either go toward recording additional horn compositions or toward the production and advertising of the CDs.
