Roseville Community Schools Athletics is located in Southeastern Michigan and serves a blue collar community. Roseville Community Schools has 70% low income students and provides a full sports program for all kids. We do not charge our students to play because many of our students would not be able to participate if they were charged.
We have new administration and a new head football coach who is trying to build our athletics program.
We need funds to help provide these students with the proper equipment to train and become competitive. Improving our program will help students earn scholarships or participate in college sports program.
We are collecting funds by challenging individuals to choose to shave Ed Mizinski's iconic mustache or save his iconic mustache. Ed Mizinski is a former student, athlete, teacher and coach in the Roseville Community Schools. During his tenure at Roseville, Ed coached Varsity and middle school football and varsity and middle school track. Mizinski is the 2011 Eastern Michigan University Hall of Fame Ron Oestrike Distinguish Service recipient. He played college football as a three year letteman, starting receiver, and E-Club President.
Our goal is to raise 5,000 dollars by September 22nd at which Ed will shave his mustache during the half-time show.
