Calandra Center for Health and Wellness is getting ready for an expansion in May 2017, and we need your help!
In order to better serve existing patients and welcome new ones, we are opening up a cooperative facility in Chicago's South Loop. We will continue to help individuals heal through NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques), Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Access Consciousness Bars, and Reiki. Our new facility will also afford us space to offer a variety of classes and therapies for the general public, as well as continuing education workshops for licensed professionals such as massage therapists and acupuncturists.
Our practitioners and teachers strive to empower the general public with the knowledge and tools to be proactive about one's own health, while collaborating with the Western Medical community to provide a fully integrative medical experience. Our goal with this expansion is to create a safe space to heal the mind, body, and soul.
About the owner:
Teri Calandra (L.Ac., Dipl. Acu, MSTOM, LMT, RMT) is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist specializing in the following treatment modalities:
NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques)
Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine
Access Consciousness Bars
Reiki
Teri is also a Reiki Teacher of Usui linage and incorporates a wide variety of other energy work and meditation into her practice.
Teri became licensed in complementary medicine because of her own ailments. As a child, she suffered from a number of allergies and injuries that were alleviated by the therapies that she now practices.
In addition to Allergies, Teri has also successfully assisted individuals in finding relief from the following conditions, many of which are considered chronic in nature and difficult to treat:
Infertility
Interstitial Cystitis
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Pain
Autoimmune diseases
Digestive disorders
Skin disorders
