Bring Ben home

Ben Littrell was hit by a car while walking in Charleston, South Carolina. He is currently fighting for his life in the Surgical Trauma Intensive care unit of MUSC Hospital in Charleston. He is receiving excellent care from the level one trauma team, and is responding to their efforts. Ben was only visiting Charleston for the day. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina where he works for EcoLab as a Territory manager.
Ben's road to full recovery is a long one. His parents flew from Indianapolis to be by his side. His brother Carl and sister-in-law Stacy Littrell flew in from Dallas. We are by his side, but will need to return to our jobs and lives back home at some point.
Alone in a far away city on life support is not helpful to recovery. As he becomes stable and able to travel, our great need wiil be to get him back to his home town for rehabilitation and recovery. Medical transport from South Carolina to Indianapolis is very expensive. Ben's length of rehab on his road back is an unknown, but one year is a common length the neurosurgical team has used repeatedly. Family support is crucial to his recovery, and we need help to get him home.
Thank you to all his loved ones who have crossed paths in Ben's life, for your prayers and your support.
