Crushing Cancer: Back to school

In May 2017 I left my teaching post in the Middle East after I started feeling ill and a diagnosis could not be made. Without insurance in my home country, havving been gone for over 5 years, I ended up having to use my savings for my medical procedures: CT scans, MRIs, and daily bloodwork. Throughout this process, several potential dignoses were given out, and included everything from cirrhosis of the liver to ovarian cancer. It was a terrifying time, and the one thing that kept me going was the decication to my Psychology degree. I have long desired to move to Ireland and start a practice, and through the months of uncertainty, my courses kept me grounded. Unfortunately, with the mounting bills, I was unable to pay my course fees, and could not continue.
My official diagnosis is Polycythemia Rubra Vera, a rare form of blood cancer. Luckily, I am feeling great, and enjoy a good quality of life. Unfortunately, the medical treatments are very expensive. I would love to finish the remaning 9 months of my degree, and find lucrative employment as a psychologist so I can reach my dream of doing my PhD and pay for my treatments.
I am reaching out to those I love to help spread the word to help me reach my dream and my goal! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
