Hi, my name is Dorian and I am the founder of CAXIT: The Catholic Exit from the Democrat Party.
I am a former DRE with a master's degree in Theology from the John Paul II Institute for the Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C. I have worked for the Catholic Church for 12 years in the areas of Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Campus Ministry, Marriage Preparation and Young Adult Ministry in CA and D.C.
CAXIT is movement inviting Catholics to exit the Democrat party and the liberal ideologies that have infected and distorted the heritage of American patriotism, her Christian moral tradition and the vitality of the Roman Catholic Church. It seeks to protect the founding documents that have made this nation and the Catholic Church great: the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The radical left has a history of violating the religious freedom and morals values that our country was founded upon. No country can be free that is not moral. Virtue and freedom are intrinsically tied together. You cannot have one without the other. Alexis de Tocqueville states in Democracy in America, "No free communities exist that are not moral," and "If man be free, he must believe." Democrats seek to destroy our freedom by eradicating morality in the name of "inclusion" and "social justice." We must fight to defend the founding principles and documents of our nation and include God in the public square. Our currency must read "in God we trust," our schools must recite the pledge of allegiance as "one nation under God," and our testimonies in courts must include "so help me God."
THE REBUILD is a part of CAXIT that focuses on rebuilding the Catholic Church. It is a call to action and a grassroots movement to inspire and embolden faithful Catholics to unite and fight for a restoration of the true church by upholding her Magisterial teachings through conservative activism and the implementation of effective ministries. The Rebuild is a resource for faithful Catholics to rebuild the Catholic Church by initiating ministries, events, programs and activities in local towns and parishes. Our goal is to restore the sacred Liturgy, encourage priests to courageously speak the truth from the pulpit, provide chastity education to heal abortion and the clergy abuse scandal, and set the Church on fire with a powerful mission of evangelization through prayer groups, bible studies, pro-life ministries, adoration, devotions and greater access to the sacraments!
My hope is that the voice of conservative, patriotic, faithful Catholics will get so loud that politicians and bishops will have to listen and protect our rights and freedoms. If priests will begin to speak the truth from the pulpit, they can defend Catholic interests in the public square. Together we can heal our country and our Church from the bottom up and reclaim the rich and beautiful Christian heritage of this great land.
