Adil Issah is my name and the Executive Director of Caring Volunteers Network-CAVNET.Caring Volunteers Network is a local-based Non-Governmental Organization operating in the Upper West Region of Ghana, its headquarters located in the Wa Municipality, directly behind SSNIT office at Kabanye. The organization has been established to bring help, good health and development to our society, especially, the poor and needy in the rural areas. The organization also identifies brilliant but needy children and assists them in their educational pursuit. Also, the organization is committed to finding lasting solutions to the perennial and pervasive poverty problems in the region and Ghana as a whole. Caring Volunteers Network is currently operating in the Wa municipal, Wa East and Wa West. However, we have the intention of scaling-up to other districts, especially Nadowli, Jirapa and Sissala West districts anytime soon. The organization is focused on five thematic areas which
include; EDUCATION, LIVELIHOOD/ AGRICULTURE
HEALTH, WATER , SANITATION AND HYGIENE AND ADVOCACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS. Education quality is also important in assessing a country’s performance within the Millennium Development Goal
framework. Quality of education depends largely on availability of highly skilled, motivated and committed teachers and basic tools and infrastructure. In spite of the noticeable achievement in enrolment and completion rates, quality of education remains a concern at all levels, particularly in public basic schools.

There are also regional disparities in the quantity and quality of education outcomes, with the northern regions and rural areas being the worst affected. These challenges need to be addressed in order to ensure high quality education outcomes. One of the challenges in the Millennium Development Goal report cited inadequate infrastructure in many public schools in Ghana.
The school was started in 1969 by the Busia government which currently has a student population of 300. The school has classes from 7th to 9th grade with 7th and 8th having three classrooms each excluding the 9th grade making it impossible to accommodate about 150 students in one class in the next academic year which starts in September, 2016.
The Parent Teacher Association(PTA) started this project in 2005 to supplement the numbers come next academic year but the project is yet to be materialised. Most of the parents are mostly unemployed or petty traders. I'm here to raise funds to complete the structure for the students.Poor infrastructure has been a major challenge affecting public schools in Ghana.
The project is dear to my heart and I strongly believe in educating  children in rural communities. Children are the future leaders and this project will give to a lot of children to  the opportunity to learn under a conducive environment.
