El es nuestro papá, Luis Arturo Gallanti Cárdenas, tiene 63 años, aún activo pero su salud con pronóstico reservado. Nuestro padre sufrió un infarto en el año 2016, desde ese momento
comenzó un tratamiento con dieta y medicamentos, y al mismo tiempo, le fue
recomendado un Cateterismo Cardiaco, por el elevado costo del mismo, no fue
posible hacer el Cateterismo y se trató solo con medicamentos y dieta.
La situación País que se vive en Venezuela, permitía con dificultad conseguir los
medicamentos y algunas veces estuvo sin consumirlos por algunas semanas y se
trataba de sustituir por otro o por medicina alternativa.(Natural)
En este año 2019, hace aproximadamente tres meses, comenzó a sentir cansancio
fuera de lo normal y cierta dificultad respiratoria, luego de los exámenes pertinentes,
se determino que el problema estaba en el Corazón, le diagnosticaron:
Trastornos segmentarios de la Motilidad del Ventrículo Izq. con función
sistólica global del Ventrículo Izquierdo moderadamente disminuida.
Hipertrofia Concéntrica del Ventrículo Izquierdo.
Disfunción Sistólica del Ventrículo Izquierdo leve.
Insuficiencia Mitral.
Insuficiencia Tricúspidea Leve.
Mitroaortoesclerosis.
El informe Medico recomienda con carácter de urgencia un Cateterismo
Cardiaco.
El seguro Medico que presta la Empresa donde labora no cubre este tipo de
Emergencia Médica.(Solo cubre el estudio más Diagnóstico, No el Servicio. )
Se inicio la búsqueda de Hospitales Públicos donde se haga esta intervención
Médica pero la mayoría de los mismos no prestan este servicio o sus aparatos están
en mal estado y donde lo hacen, es necesario llevar los Stent y cualquier otro
insumo que se necesite. ( Además del tiempo de espera por el elevado volumen de
pacientes que solicitan este servicio).
El 6 de Julio de este 2019, nuestro Padre sufrió otro infarto, el Diagnostico fue
Síndrome Coronario Agudo, Angina inestable Post Infarto.
Amerita Cateterismo Cardiaco Urgente y Angioplastia más Colocación de
Stents.
El presupuesto para la Intervención, alcanza un monto aproximado a los 7.900,00
Dólares, desglosados de la siguiente manera:
Clinica, estudio, exámenes, 1 día de hospitalización, equipo quirúrgico, personal
médico, personal de enfermería, etcétera un total de 19.500.000,00 de Bs
equivalentes a 1.500,00 Dólares
Colocación de 2 Stents cada uno 2.700,00 Dólares. 5.400,00 Dólares
Angioplastia 1.000,00 Dólares
Para un total de 7.900,00 Dólares
Menos la parte que cubre el seguro Salud Vital 400,00 Dólares
Necesitamos para cubrir los gastos Clínicos de la Intervención 7.500,00 Dólares
El médico recomienda hacer la intervención lo más pronto posible, mientras tanto
nuestro Padre está en casa en reposo absoluto, medicamentos y dieta.
Ante el elevado costo de la intervención y no contar con los recursos necesarios ,
necesitamos de su ayuda para solventar esta Emergencia Médica. En Venezuela,
como todos lo saben, la situación es muy difícil y solo con su ayuda lo lograremos.

Heart catheterization for our father.
This is our father, he's 63 years old, he's still active and working but his health has a delicate prognosis. Our father suffered a heart attack in the year 2016, since then he started a treatment with a strict diet and medicines, at the same time his doctor recommended a Heart Catheterization, but due to this procedure high cost, it wasn't possible to make it, so he continued his treatment with only diet and medicines.
The current situation in Venezuela made it hard to acquire the many medicines that he had to take, and sometimes he went without pharmacological treatment for weeks, trying to substitute with other medicines that were easier to acquire, or with natural remedies, until he was able to find a way to buy his actual medicines.
In this year 2019, approximately three months ago, he started to feel tiredness beyond usual and breathing difficulty, after some diagnostic tests, it was determined that the problem lied in his heart, he was diagnosed with:
-Segmentary Motility Disorder of the Left Heart Ventricle, with moderately diminished global systolic function of the left ventricle.
-Left Heart Ventricle Concentric Hypertrophy.
-Mild Left Heart Ventricle Systolic Dysfunction.
-Mitral Valve Failure.
-Mild Tricuspid Valve Failure.
-Mitral and Aortic Sclerosis
The medical inform recommends a Heart Catheterization with urgency.
His workplace medical insurance cannot cover this procedure (it only covers it for diagnosis purposes but not for therapeutic purposes). We started to search Public Hospitals that could do this procedure, but most didn't and others didn't have the resources, the few that have the necessary equipment always ask for the Stents and any other medical supply necessary for the procedure (And all of them have long waitlists because of the high volume of patients that are looking for this service).
This July 6th of 2019, our father suffered another heart attack, his diagnosis was:
-Acute Coronary Syndrome: Post-Infarction Unstable Angina
He needs an urgent Heart Catheterization and Angioplasty with Stents.
The budget for the intervention is roughly 7.900.00 USD, distributed in the following way:
-Clinic, studies, tests, 1 day of hospitalization, surgical equipment, medical personnel, nursery personnel, etc. For a total of 19.500.000, 00 Bs, equivalent of 1500 USD
-2 Stents, each for 2700.00 USD for a total of 5400.00 USD
-Angioplasty 1000.00 USD
For a total of 7,900.00 USD
-His health insurance covers 400 USD
We need 7,500.00 for covering the expenses of the procedure.
The doctor recommends to do the procedure as soon as possible, in the meantime our father is at home in absolute rest, medicines and strict diet.
