2018 Castro Valley Pride Support

Castro Valley Pride needs assistance from our community and supporters. The challenge is that we have grown each year (a good thing) but certain things have not grown with us, and we face financial issues that other events/festivals simply do not have. Due to our family-friendly atmosphere and the fact that our event is on school property, we don't sell alcohol - and alcohol sales are a large part of the funding for many community events. Additionally, in order to attract small businesses and faith groups we intentionally keep our booth prices very low. That means we not only don't make money from our booth sales, we actually lose money each year.

We believe that Castro Valley Pride is critically important to our community, perhaps now more than ever. We hope you agree and we hope you can help us continue to create a safe place for diversity by supporting Castro Valley Pride.
