Cassandra Rhea Bennnet Memorial

On January 6th, 2019, my sister Cassandra Bennett went to be with Jesus. Her children Triniti 20, Todd 16, Kinley 8, and Braxton 3 are having a hard time with the realization of her passing. They all loved her more than anything. Her battle started in 2015 when she started having problems with her leg. The doctors thought it may be nerves or even something that happened with the epidural when she had her youngest son.  They ran every test possible ruling out many diseases. On May 19th, 2016 Cassie was diagnosed with ALS. She later lost her ability to talk, and communicated by tablets and texting. Her youngest son Braxton has never heard her voice and she always wanted to be able to sing and talk to him. Her son Todd was her main caregiver and he always said he doesn't want it any other way no matter how hard was getting. He was awesome and made sure her every need was met. Everyone tried to make everyday as normal as possible throughout her illness. Even when she no longer could walk, we would load her up and take her to wherever she wanted. She was always a great bargain shopper, so taking her shopping was good for everyone. Cassie loved people. She would help everyone if she could. She was outgoing and definitely outspoken. She has loved her children and they love her and our heart breaks that they cannot have her physically in their lives. The older kids have their memories, but the younger ones were really just starting their memories. They will always be reminded and shown pictures of their mommy. Our mom will be taking the kids to live with her. She is the best Ma in the world. She loves unconditionally and has a heart of gold. The grandkids love her and are always wanting to be with her.
     We are asking for donations because although we knew the inevitable was coming the preparation did not happen that should have. I guess denial made it a little easier to deal with this horrible disease. Cassie was never the one to ask for help, but would be the one to find out how to help others. Any donations will be used for the funeral and  to help with the kids that were living at home. If you are able to donate that would be wonderful and very much appreciated.
