Casey's Dental Surgery
Please help our sweet girl, Casey!
Casey has been diagnosed with Feline Stomatitis. It's an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, bleeding, and chronic pain all over her mouth. While steroid treatments will help us manage her pain short-term, the vet told us that the only long-term relief will come from removing all of her teeth. This procedure will also prevent future infections.
She has recently lost a lot of weight and often avoids eating due to the pain. Because of how rapidly her health has declined, we've already scheduled the surgery for June 22nd.
The surgery may cost up to $1,333. It's hard to give an exact estimate, because they don't know how many teeth they'll need to pull. In the best case scenario, she will be able to keep some front teeth. However, the vet suggested that she will probably need all of her teeth pulled.
It breaks my heart to think that she is living in such severe pain all the time. She's only 2 years old. Her health and quality of life is the most important thing to me right now. My fiance and I would be eternally grateful for any financial help we receive during this difficult time. Thank you!
