Medical Fund for Treatment

My name is Casandra and I have been recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma which is a type of breast cancer. A little about me, I am a single mother of a brillant and kind six year old, I am a graduate student studying Applied Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Stout, and I frequently volunteer in the community to give back. All my family lives in MN, so it's been tough being away from my family at this time, but I have an amazing support system here in Menomonie and I couldn't be more blessed. I want to raise money for the medical bills that are accumulating, and to be able to support my son and I living alone and going to school in Wisconsin. Being a single mother, going to graduate school, and having breast cancer treatments weekly I don't want to work because of everything I have going on. If I worked I wouldn't get to spend as much time with my amazing son and watch him grow, which is important to me. Right now I rely solely on my scholarships and student loans to pay for my living expenses and rent. So far I have been able to manage it, but with accumulating medical bills it's become challenging and stressful wondering how I am going to pay next months rent/bills. I want to thank all of you who read this and I hope that my story helps someone dealing with a similar situation or that it provides some inspiration in some way.
