Carter's National Baseball Invite

Congratulations to Carter McGarvey, while recently participating in the Select30 Super NIT Baseball tournament, he was identified by the Amateur All-American Scouting Network (AASN) as a Top Prospect in his age division. The coaching staff for the Pickerington Predators Travel Team he currently plays on nominated him to be scouted during the tournament. The AASN Staff requested a follow up from USSSA National HQ about his Golden Ticket Invite to the Select30 Championships played July 30 thru August 5, 2017 in Orlando, FL. We have to respond in the next 3 days if we are attending or else his invite will become void.

Carter currently leads his team with a batting average of .447 and a slugging percentage of .697. He leads the team in Hits with 34.. Doubles with 9.. Triples with 2 and 2 total Home Runs over the fence. We are very proud of him as we continue to stress being humble, keeping a positive attitude, being a team leader and knowing you can always get better. Part of getting better is allowing him to play with players better than him and this is a great opportunity.

The total cost of the trip is $2,800; however, we are setting a goal of $1,500. We appreciate the support thus far that we have received and the people who said it would be a good idea to fundraise, and believed we can accomplish the funds necessary to take on this unique opportunity.
