Carolyn Scofield Flood Relief

Donation protected
On July 12th a massive storm dumped almost 10 inches of rain on the New Orleans area. Carolyn Scofield lives in Broadmoor and her home was severely flooded, with over a foot of standing water that pretty much destroyed all of her furniture and many of her valuables. Her car was also flooded. In addition to this, she is caring for her mother who has a host of medical issues. The home where her and her mother are living is no longer inhabitable and she needs to find a new place to accommodate her and her mother. Carolyn has renters insurance but received word from her carrier that none of what has been lost is claimeable as her policy does not cover flooding. She needs funding immediately to procure a new home and replace what has been lost. A word about Carolyn: she is a tireless supporter of those in need. She has volunteered her time and money to help out during recent disasters, such as the Baton Rouge flooding in 2016, Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and Hurricane Michael (which devastated her hometown of Panama City) in 2018 and 2019. Simply put, helping people is her passion. If you know her at all you'd know that there is nothing on this earth she hates more than asking for help for herself. She'd much rather be the person to lend a hand to others but, right now, she's the one in need. Any and all monies raised will go directly to Carolyn to replace everything she's lost and towards deposits for a new apartment. She's helped so many people in so many ways...Let's return the favor and help her! Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
