Carolyn Hanna’s Children’s Fund
Shortly after becoming pregnant with her second child, Carolyn Hanna, a Richmond resident, Radford TriSigma Alum and Kappa Sigma Sweetheart, and New Jersey native, received the devastating news that she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Carolyn, being the incredibly strong fighter that she is, powered through her first 4 rounds of chemo while pregnant and completed the remaining 10 rounds after having giving birth to her precious and healthy baby boy, Colton, on November 18th, 2017. She then continued her battle with 6 weeks of daily radiation and reconstructive surgery finally to be told by her doctors that she was cancer free in February 2018. In May, after finishing radiation, she finally thought cancer was behind her but continued having terrible back pain. Although, you would never know the awful pain Carolyn was in due to her radiant smile, courage, and positive attitude. Almost two weeks ago, it was discovered that the cancer cells had spread to Carolyn’s spinal fluid. Carolyn fought cancer with everything she had, and she didn’t lose her battle with cancer, she won every day with her courage, strength, and positive attitude.
Mike has lost his incredible wife, Jack and Colton have lost their Mother, Grace and Kyle their sister, and Jack and Nancy their daughter. There has been such an incredible outpouring of support from so many individuals that loved Carolyn and crossed paths with her along the way. Many have asked how they can help to carry on Carolyn’s legacy and provide support during this difficult time. This page has been created to establish a fund for Colton and Jack’s future, as we know her children were her everything. ❤️

We can not thank you enough for your generosity! We have created a T-Shirt Fundraiser to help support her family, Jack, Colton, and Mike Hanna. For every shirt that is bought, a $10.00 donation will be made to the Hanna family to help assist with medical bills from her 2 year battle with Cancer, and the boys' education.

The design was created for a golf tournament later this month, but it is hard to think about the holiday's without thinking about Carolyn. She was born on New Year's Eve, and the logo makes us think of her, her love for this time of year, her family's love for golf, being surrounded by her best friends, and having a good time.
Please buy a shirt for you, a gift for your family, and share this with your friends. The store will close in 5 days so you will have your shirts delivered by 12/24!
