Carmen Monoxide v. Cancer

Dear friends,
It is with a very heavy heart that I reach out to you today to ask for support for our dear friend, Carmen, aka, Carmen Monoxide. As many of you know, Carmen has spent the last year battling cancer and recently survived two rough surgeries in December.
On Friday, Carmen was told that her cancer has spread and that she has one to three months to live. Let's help her do that--live--as well and as comfortably as possible without the stress of paying rent and mounting medical bills. This is an urgent situation--she needs financial help now--so we ask that you stretch where you can and donate today.
On March 19th, several of her derby sisters will be skating from Chinatown to Venice in her honor--and as a fundraiser to help cover her medical treatments. This is a 26 mile skate and we would love your help in spreading the word. We will also be designing Carmen Monoxide shirts for skaters who would like to join us and raise funds for our loving, hilarious, bad ass, selfless, caring, crafty friend. We love you, Carmen and we are here for you. Always.
