Carlos fights to live, vs Cancer.
Hello everyone! Meet Carlos Rivera Duran in Phoenix Arizona, he's 23 years old and fighting the battle of his life. Two months ago (August 2017) he was diagnosed with colon cancer and had sugery for it. He recently found out the cancer is spreading, reaching his liver. He's in unbearable pain and time is running out. We have hope that with chemotherapy treatment he will have a surviving chance.
Carlos is the father of a beautiful little girl, she means the world to him. His girlfriend is now 6 months pregnant, they are expecting a baby girl in January. He's been working since the age of 14 years old, and he can't work anymore. Making it impossible to provide for his family, help his parents, and keep up with personal bills. Unfortunately, the bills don't go away, and neither will the high costs of his cancer treatments. Carlos is a DACA (Differed Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient, he was 3 years old when his parents came and brought him to the United States from Mexico. He has so much to live for.
After everything he's been through, he smiles through the pain. His first chemotherapy session didn't go easy on him, but he's determined to take on this fight and win cancer. On behalf of Carlos and his family, thank you!
His sister, Jasmin Duran is withdrawing for the family.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and support.
