A Beautiful Soul Starting To Fade

As many of you know the fight against leukemia is a costly one and one we thought was behind us after her being cancer free for 7 years after her breast cancer. And there comes a point in almost anyone's life when they must ask for help. This is ours. This does not come easy. It's taken us months of deliberating on this.                                                                             Carla was diagnosed in January with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia but the battle began in November with many trips to the ER with severe unexplained pains. Right now it's just constant weekly trips to OSU in Columbus for chemotherapy until a bone marrow donor can be matched. We've been close but each donor fell thru at the last moment. We've got at least a year and more of fighting in front of us. And now with her being unable to work the medical bills are piling up fast.                                                            I know things are hard for a lot of people and if you cannot donate then please say a prayer for my wife Carla and our family. Since then she's had cardiac arrest and had a pacemaker put in.
December 26th she had a brain tumor removed, but not before she lost the use of her right leg and right arm. We're praying that she'll regain the use of them with therapy. And that radiation treatments will destroy what's left of the cancer. We definitely need lots of prayers. Currently she's at Heritage Center for rehab and going to Saint Mary's for radiation therapy.
New update she's now at Hospice House after a long hard battle with leukemia and heart failure. She's gotten to weak to keep up the fight without Gods grace.
