Carl J. Marrara Memorial Scholarship Fund - 2019

This year marks the 15th Annual Carl J. Marrara Memorial Scholarship Fund Volleyball Tournament. On Friday, May 17, 2019, hundreds of students will gather for a night of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition.
My Dad was the guidance counselor for many, many years at the Danville Area Senior High School - always a champion for students and constantly advocating for the underdog. It's amazing that to this day I still encounter people that recognize the last name and proceed to tell me that my Dad helped them find their passion and directed their education in a direction to best accomplish their goals. Through the scholarship foundation, the legacy lives on.
For a donation of $100, your name (family name or business name) will be listed on the back the tournament t-shirt. We will also send you TWO t-shirts in appreciation for your gift. For a donation of $50, you will receive one t-shirt as a gift. There is also an "other" amount. Any contribution helps and is appreciated.
As always, ALL collected proceeds will go directly to the scholarship fund hosted by the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation. This scholarship recognizes the type of student at the Danville Area Senior High School that offers significant contributions to the greater community, but may not get recognized otherwise. It's not the top student or best athlete, but a good citizen, rooted in community involvement; a leader with a sense of humor; they must be grounded; they must show tolerance of others; they must be honest; they must have integrity and make a difference in the school community; and they must have an unmet financial need.
In order to print the shirts, all donations must be made by Friday, May 3rd.
