Caring for Sarah - Stage IV Breast Cancer Support

Please join us in loving and supporting our dear friend, Sarah Waltz, as she moves into a new stage of life with breast cancer.
On June 7th, 2018, Sarah was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer at 27 years old. She is a thriver, and has never ceased to live life fully and well. She gives to others through volunteer work, has stayed dedicated to her job, and loves people in a way that not many do. Sarah is our dearest friend and someone that we are undeservingly lucky to be known and loved by - and we know many others would say the same as well.
Recently, a new growth of cancer was found in Sarah's brain. With a new treatment path to combat this finding, and a year into her diagnosis, the constant change of breast cancer has brought a need for a new life stage. In order to maintain her health and wellness in all ways, Sarah needs to remove the vast majority of her work life - and within the next few months stop working a regular job completely. Support from social security should begin in some time, but it can take a long 6 months to begin - and is not enough to fully sustain a balanced life. This brings about an obvious financial need. We believe and desire for her that money is not a worry she should have. She has always given so much to others, and it is time for her to rest and allow her friends, family and community to love her in return.
We invite you to join us in caring for Sarah through financial support so that she can continue to thrive! Our goal may change as we solidify more how long this process will take and what costs will be - but our aim is to cover her expenses for six months, reduce her debt from bills, build a reserve for supplement to her social security income - and allow her to enjoy every day of life that she, and we, are blessed with.
