Caring For Clover

Hi there everyone! My name is Clover and I am a loving border collie blend. I recently found myself shacked up at SCRAPS animal shelter after losing track of my family.

Here's the thing, I am really feeling the weight of the world on my shoulder- literally. I have a terrible basketball sized mass that has grown near my left shoulder blade. It has been biopsied and is benign, so now all I have to do is have it removed. My lucky day finally came when Power of the Paw, a licensed 501c3 animal rescue based in Rathdrum, ID agreed to spring me from SCRAPS and welcome me, and my tremendous medical needs into their program. Upon initial exam, it became clear that I would need much more than just a lumpectomy. My silver little muzzle is proof that I will need to have my bloodwork done before any surgery can begin. I also have terribly infected teeth that will need to be addressed, and I was denied the privilege of a routine spay when I was young, so now it still has to be done and will be even more complicated than it could have been.

Power of the Paw is more than happy to care for me, but just like I deserved a second chance at life when it seemed like no one was going to give it to me, they deserve a little help to earn me my clean bill of health and get me started on the good life that every dog deserves.

If we could all come together and give just a little, my projected 3,000 dollar vet bill will be covered in no time. Power of the Paw gave me permission to give an official 2017 POTP calendar to anyone who will offer up at least 20 dollars, and a POTP decal to anyone who will offer 30 or more dollars. I will even hand deliver a few!
