Fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia, ease his worries.

Jesse was diagnosed with AML in October 2018 and has been off work since that day. On April 30th Jesse was admitted to the hospital in St. Louis, MO. He started round one of intense chemo May 1st and his second round May 5th. On May 8th he will receive his bone marrow transplant. He will remain in the hospital for another 3 weeks. At the end of that 3 weeks he will have to move to a place to stay close to the hospital for an additional 60 days. Jesse lives in Springfield, MO and cannot drive 2 or 3 times a week to see the doctor in St Louis and if something was to go wrong no one in the Springfield area would be able to help him. While he is staying in the St. Louis area he will need home health care aides, this is expensive and not covered by insurance. We are currently appealing the denial of longtern disability through Guardian. We are still waiting on Social Security Disability and the VA for help too. At this time Jesse should honestly be focused on fighting AML. And not if his family will be taken care of during this time or even how his family will be able to come see him. Jesse is a husband, son, father, grandfather, and retired soldier, please help him raise this money. We are now in the waiting game with no less than 45 days wait for answers by most. We desperately need to raise the money to cover what we may have to pay out of pocket, that we simply don't have, and to make sure Jesse's family is cared for while he fights. Who knows maybe we will reach our actual goal of $30,000+ or will have gotten something back from SSDI, the VA, or Guardian!!! And Jesse can spend time recovering and not stressing and worrying about his family being okay during this time. Thank you so much for reading this post.
