Vision Fund-Blind Mommy
Donation protected
Sudden blindness struck me, a single mom and the primary provider of my boys in January of this year. This has been a devastating challenge. My diagnosis is severe keratitis, Limbal Stem Cell Defeciency, a thickening of the frontal cornea, scarring and haze. All conditions in both eyes and the damage-blindness determined to be permanent. Both eyes have continued to aggressively worsen despite therapy leaving me unable to drive, work or do anything on my own. No longer having the ability to see your own face or do anything is an unimaginable helpless feeling.
8 months now with no income and lost within the appeal process of disability-ive lost my car and home. It has only been through the donations that we have survived.
My boys are my absolute life. In a world that I can no longer recognize-my boys continue to drive my determination and hope for healing.
As a fiercely independent single mom , it has been difficult to acknowledge that I cannot do this alone. I am asking for your prayers and donations to help with medical costs. food, rent, utility bills, and insurance. Thank you sincerely for your prayers and donations. Trusting and believing this painful experience will be used for the greater good we make of it.
