After local Mum Lenka noticed that something was different and not right, she went to the Doctor'sand found out she has Cancer.
Beingg the stubborn person that she is, she has refused "Handouts". Two of her friends have decided to make a stand!!
Since both have coloured have most day's, something crazy was needed! If they can raise a minimum of $1000, they will both shave their head's. This will be done live on stage at the Carcoola Festival of the Trees on the 1st of December 2017. That is only $500 on each of their head's.
Rowena and Katrina want to show a fellow school Mum and friend that she is not standing alone and that we, as a community, are all here to support her.
We hope to raise enough fund's for the family to help relieve some of the stresses of bills and living expenses whilst treatment is undertaken.
