Cara's Cure for Muscular Dystrophy

Hello, my name is Cara Sharp. I am 31-year old Canadian female, and I have been living with a degenerative disease called FSH Muscular Dystrophy for the past 15 years. Over time, this has significantly limited my mobility and range of motion, making it difficult for me to partake in many everyday activities without support. I have always maintained a positive attitude throughout this illness, and continue to be a driven and ambitious person, using the lessons I have learned and inner strength I have developed to push forward. During my twenties I received a degree in Elementary Education and taught Elementary School for 5 years. In this past year, I have started my own business as a Reiki Energy Healing Pracitioner. I also work as a visual artist and recently self-published my first novel. I have dreams to become a certified Yoga instructor and to pursue dance, and various other forms of physical wellness. Until recently, these seemed like distant dreams, as there was no known treatment for Muscular Dystrophy, and my physical limitations prevent me from fully purusing these goals.
