So, first I am ok. Some bruises, aches and pains, but no real injuries.
Today, 1/14, a car hit my car and then ran, while I was in Columbus, OH. I had just left the DeCon hotel, and was heading towards the North Market, when I heard a horn blaring and turned just enough to see a car run a stop sign and hit the front of my car. The car, a dark blue sedan with no front plate, then took off and left the scene. The Columbus Police would not come to the scene since there were no injuries. I have to file a police report online.
Just from what we can see (The picture doesnt do it justice), the hood, grill, bumper, fender, headlamp, a/c piece, and possibly the radiator needs replaced. The main fan is questionable, as well as a few other parts. It is really disconcerting to be able to look under the hood while driving, that is how buckled the hood is. I can see a foot of daylight under it when in the drivers seat.
The good news is, I have full coverage insurance, that includes underinsured and no insurance coverage. This will be fully covered under my insurance policy.
The bad news is, my deductible is $500. Any help given will go towards the deductible. Thank you everyone. You are amazing in your spirit and generousity.
