Friends and Family & Fire Family-

Wayno was my paramedic partner  at Fire Station 107. He was a proud father of 3, and a wonderful and patient husband. He was my “brother” on the squad and we shared our share of good times and bad.
Please share and if you can contribute, the family would greatly appreciate it.  All donations will go directly to his wife to cover funeral costs and any other expenses that may come up.

If you can’t make a donation,  please donate an act of kindness to someone you love, or to a complete stranger. Compassion goes a long way. Thanks you everyone for your support.
See you on the other side, Double X.

Yesterday, Wayne was laid to rest atop a beautiful hill just below an oak tree at the Santa Barbara Cemetery. Along with Friends and Family, LA County Fire, Santa Barbara County Fire and Montecito Fire Dept stood side by side so that the “sea of blue” could say goodbye to our fallen brother. Special thanks go out to all who have donated not only financially, but those who have donated kindness and time. Special thanks to the LA County Fire Honor Guard, Local 1014, Chaplain Rossi and Ching, and those members of BN 6, 22 and Station 73 for showing support.

I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for the generous donations.
Today was a difficult day for the family and our Fire Department. Captain Habell was transported from Santa Barbara to Camarillo by way of a Fire Department procession. Santa Barbara County Fire, Santa Barbara City Fire, ANF Fire, Ventura County Fire, Ventura City Fire, and Oxnard Fire all paid respect by saluting the procession along the 101 freeway overpasses.
Thank you and your families for your continued support.

This is the first time I’ve ever done a GoFund Me page. First off, I want to thank EVERYONE for their love and support, kind words, direct messages to me. We as first responders know how difficult it is to lose a loved one. It is even more difficult because we know exactly what the family is going through.
I would like to personally thank each and everyone one of my brothers and sisters with the Department, friends and family. Your generosity to Jen and the kids speaks volumes about your character.
I will co to us to post updates on services as I get them.
Thanks again.
Adam
