Help My Sister Fight Brain Tumors
Donation protected
My sister battled leukemia when she was just 18 months old. It was a rough time for my mother and family but she was able to pull through and grow into an amazing 36 year old woman. Through all this time she's had a bubbly and kind personality that everyone who knows her is lucky to see.
Noticing strange behaviour for a few weeks, my mother took her to the hospital where she has had numerous scans, and MRI's to confirm the size and position of two large tumors pressing against her brain. One, connected to her brain stem would be difficult to remove but we will overcome.
After the surgeries she will need a lot of recovery to re-learn how to walk and talk, with extensive cognitive therapy, physical therapy, and more. With her being recently unemployed, funds are few and far between for her and her husband and all I would ever want for Christmas is for her to be healthy and happy again without any care in the world. She is a strong woman who I know will pull through this along with the amazing support and care from family, loved ones, friends, neighbors, and the wonderful staff at HUP.
I love you Candy. This is my Christmas Wish.
