Cancer DVD series for caregivers

Hello!
My name is Carson Boss and my life was turned upside down with my wife's breast cancer diagnosis a few years ago. I reached out to as many husbands as I knew whos wives had cancer and learned that no matter what type of cancer they had, there were common areas that all of them had to manage. Their experiences, coupled with my own, in assisting my wife through her chemotherapy, radiation and numerous surgeries lead me to self publish a book called "Your Wife Has Cancer, Now What?" as a way to share with others, the valuable information I had learned.
My book was later picked up by a book company called Familius and with their encouragement and support we felt we should create a DVD series that would cover the thirteen main areas of the book. Some of these areas include effective support techniques, dealing with difficult emotions, intimidating household chores, and step by step financial guidance.
The series we are hoping to create will include interviews with husbands and couples that share their stories dealing with a wide range of cancers. It will also contain interviews with some of the leading cancer speacialists from the Huntsman Cancer Institute to help create a built in support group for the viewer. We want the series to give them a quick blue print of what to expect so they can customize their own plan of action.
The $15,000 in funds we are hoping to raise with this campaign will be used to finish the filming, editing, developing and packaging costs. If we hit our goal, we will be able to cover each of the areas in the book in greater detail. Any amount donated over the $15,000 will allow us to send the DVD series, at no cost to them, to cancer treatment libraries across the english speaking globe.
