Cancer Treatment Support for Teresa

Hello Friends:
As some of you know, Teresa (Wound care RN at Boulder Community Health, and University Hospital) has recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She is a single mom of a beautiful 9 year old girl who is in the 3rd grade. She is usually the person who people turn to when they need help, but she is now turning to you in urgent and dire need.
Her type of blood cancer has no cure, and so she has begun extensive testing, treatments and chemotherapy to help prolong her life. She is fighting for her daughter. To have as much time with her child as possible.
In addition she has also been experiencing significant vision problems, which may or may not be related to the cancer and she has done multiple eye surgeries.
The cost for her medications/chemo and procedures will likely be several thousand dollars per month after her $9000 out of pocket/insurance deductible/after insurance has paid it’s share. These treatments will likely be ongoing for the rest of her life. To some degree. She is also facing a costly stem cell transplant in 2018 or 2019. that will put her out of work for at least 2 more months (which could result in losing her job) and will just add to those monthly costs.
