Cancer sucks, let's rock!

Those that know Warren "Andy" Pease know that he is a tremendously thoughtful and conscientious, warm-hearted man, and a skilled woodworker.  He is also a fantastic drummer who brings an amazing amount of devotion to his craft.

Last August, Warren was diagnosed with multiple kinds of cancer at age 31.  So far he's responding well to treatment, but it looks very much like this is a chronic condition that will persist for the rest of his life, and it is possible that it will wind up cutting his life short.

As of now, we do not need to raise money to cover treatments or living expenses.  We would, however, like to raise some money for Warren to have his own recording rig for his drum kit.

We've always gotten by borrowing friends' gear or studio time whenever we could, which is very time-consuming.  Since his diagnosis, there's a sense of urgency about getting as many of the projects he's been wanting to do and preparing for over the last few years done as soon as possible. 

Warren has already had people donate components for a computer that could work for this, but with him unable to work because of his condition, there isn't enough money to splurge on microphones or an audio interface.   If we get the gear, I can set it all up for him and show him how to drive it.

We know this isn’t quite the same as raising money for a lifesaving procedure or something like that, but I feel like this is something he deserves.  Hopefully Warren will be with us for many more years, but whether or not that is the case, I want to see to it that the talent and thoughtful craftsmanship he's brought to his music for over a decade will leave as large a legacy as possible.
