Thank you everyone who donated so far. I was able to start chemo but now I need to get a shot for my bone marrow to work properly to help fight the cancer and it is $1600. Please if anyone can help again it would be really appreciated!!
Well, it seems that I am in a little trouble here in Texas. I went to the ER with what we thought was gallstones but when they did a CT scan the found a spot on my liver and one outside my liver. I had a liver biopsy and confirmed it is cancer metastasized from somewhere else. They did a PET Scan and found a spot on my left shoulder blade, one on my 7th rib on the right side and a spot beside my right breast where I had the breast cancer before. They are doing more tests on that because they think it came from there. And it’s Stage 4–which sucks. Since I moved from Hawaii, my insurance changed. I spent $800.00 this week on tests. The good news is they approved my chemotherapy. The bad news is they want $5,000 before I can get it. I spent all I had and more to move here so I am in a real bind here. I am embarrassed to do this but I am out of options and my doctor told me I had to hurry up and get the funds so we can get started. So if anyone can help, I will be forever grateful. I am strong but this has really got me down. I thought I had chosen a good insurance plan but turns out it isn’t the best. Prayers and good thoughts are welcome as well. Thank you
