Canada's 150th Birthday Fireworks

Hello My Name is Jim Mckee,I have started a GoFundMe page in order to help raise funds for our Community Fireworks event for Canada's 150thBirthday End Of Summer Blowout  On Sat Aug 26th,2017 In Valleymore Park at 338 Spillsbury dr, Peterborough Ont.from 8pm-11pm..I have been doing this event for 10 yr's but it has grown alot over the years that it has attracted attention from the City, in turn we now need Permits and Insurance of $5 million at a cost of $1300, on top of cost of Fireworks, So I decide that last year was the last time i was going to do this event as it has cost us so much out of our pocket , But this summer the Children and Families in our area have been asking me over and over are you going to do another Fireworks, I said NO up until 2 wks ago when i gave in and said Yes Because it is Canada's 150th Birthday and i thought why not do 1 last show for our Birthday,Well once again i have hit road blocks from the city even after getting the insurance they asked for . I have already committed to this and have tied up $6000  in it, My wife and I just do not have that kind of money ,So I am hoping people will help us with some Donations (Anything will  help in the end)in order for us to have this Great Event  for the Kids and our Community. To behonest i have No idea how to run these Gofundme pages ,I'm normally just collect money from the area and what ever else i pay for my self, But  we just cannot do that this year, So hopefully i can get alittle help from This,-Also it looks like everything is going to be ok with the city now as I had to hire a Fireworks company to help me with the show  Thank you all so Much , For your time and your kind Generousity.Jim Mckee
