CHLL Field Improvement Project

Camp Hill Little League has embarked on a much needed field revitalization project.  As one of the oldest chartered Little League programs in the Capitol region, Camp Hill Little League facilities date back to the early 1950’s.  Through the hard work of many volunteers over the years, Camp Hill’s baseball fields have always been a source of pride for the community.  Unfortunately, the baseball fields are in need of major improvement to ensure the safety of the players and to improve the overall baseball experience.  These fields are used by over 200 Little Leaguer’s and 100 Challenger players (children with physical and/or intellectual challenges) throughout spring, summer, and into the fall.  Camp Hill Little League has a storied history and continues to be Camp Hill’s largest youth sports program. 

Additionally, Camp Hill has been invited to host the 2019 Little League State Championship Tournament.  This means that the top eight Little League teams will compete for the opportunity to represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut.  The winner of that tournament goes directly to the Little League World Series.  This is an incredible opportunity for Camp Hill to, once again, shine by hosting a memorable State Championship.
