Calum's Pro Cycling Ambition

Hi, my name is Calum Johnston and I'm 19 years old. I have been cycling competitively since the age of 10 with the goal of achieving my ambition of becoming a Professional Racing Cyclist. This year I had the amazing oppurtunity to guest with a team called 'Zappi Racing Team' which is an U23 cycling team based in Italy and run by Italian ex professional Flavio Zappi. I've recently spent two months in Italy racing in some of the biggest U23 races in the world whilst against the best riders for my age category. Since then I have been offered a place in the team for 2018 but this comes at a considerable cost. Up until now my parents have funded my career goal but now that this is becoming more serious, keeping up with costs is becoming more difficult and challenging. The next couple of years are crucial for my development and this will allow me to learn my craft. Any donations made will go towards travel expenses, race entries, food and accommodation and I would greatly appreciate any support to help fulfil my dream.
