Donation protected
September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. On August 31st Caidens Crusaders and Giddy up for Kids Kickin Cancers butt will gather together to spread awareness and raise funds for Pediatric Cancer. This journey known as “Caidens Ride for Help & Hope”  If you would like to know more about Caidens Ride, how you can help or would like to join in the fun; you can follow us here : 2nd Annual Caidens Ride for Help & Hope  The proceeds from this amazing multifaceted event will be used to benefit a local child and a local charity. Last year we raised over $11,000 and rode over 1200 miles round trip to deliver a check in Caidens honor!!  As we have decided to stay local this year, we believe we will have more participants, sponsors and will be able to break that number easily! This year we are proud to announce that we have partnered up with Sophia's fund. This non-profit charitable organization serves the families of the community, makes huge impacts on the lives of children with cancer and is a most worthy beneficiary.  All proceeds raised will be split between Sophia's Fund and a local family who's child has cancer.  All funds will be withdrawn , combined with checks and donations from our sponsors and 2 checks will be presented in Caidens honor. BENEFICIARIES: ALLI SCHABLEIN Alli is and 11 year old girl from Derry, N.H who is battling brain and spine cancer called Metastatic Anapolastic Astrocytoma Stage 3 for the second time. She is currently undergoing 30 days of radiation and this is just the beginning. With a long road ahead of her, we at Caidens Ride have promised to help ease the burden any way we can. SOPHIA’S FUND Our mission at Sophia's Fund is derived from a simple question, "What would Sophie want?" Sophia's Fund is dedicated to helping families in their crusade against cancer; either financially or otherwise. We assist with life changes; raising awareness to gain greater support in the local and national communities; and ultimately strive to allow families to focus their energy on the battle. The enormity of childhood cancer cannot be known until one goes through this ordeal. From a parent needing to leave work to care for their child, to other siblings dealing with the trauma of having a brother or sister with a life threatening disease. The need for support is great, and Sophia’s Fund strives to do that even in the smallest of ways. Sophia's Fund is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization We are a donation driven organization that provides financial support to children undergoing cancer treatments and their families. Sophia's Fund is also in the battle to help increase childhood cancer awareness, funding, and research. Background: On March 17th 2017, 5 month old Caiden Falcon was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. For 7 months Caiden battled his disease surrounded by his family and the love of all the crusaders who followed him. He did so with the ever present smile on his face that brought joy to so many who had the pleasure of knowing him and those whose lives he touched virtually. On November 20, 2017 just after his 1st birthday, Caiden earned his wings... Many of you went to his fundraisers, helped out in numerous ways through fundraisers, helped us build an amazing float in his honor for the Merrimac Santa Parade and attended his services.... THANK YOU!! As you know, if you've ever lost a loved one, the hardest part is going home. What comes next? The fear that the memory of the people that we loved so much will be forgotten. We made a promise to Jo, Ari, Heidi and their families that that would not happen and thus this ride for Caiden was born. Pediatric Cancer is the number 1 cause of death from disease among children. Only 4% of all funds raised for cancer Awareness goes to pediatric cancer research. 4% is NOT enough. The children of the world, their child, our children are worth more than 4% There are approximately 250,000 new cases of kids DIAGNOSED per YEAR. That's roughly 700 per DAY. and each YEAR on average 91,250 children lose their battle that's 250 per DAY!!! Aside from donations, Caidens ride is also looking for sponsors for this event. For more information on sponsorship plese contact us here: Caidens Ride for Help & Hope . On behalf of the family and all of Caidens Crusaders and Giddy up for kids, We thank you for your Support!!
