Late into the evening of March 25th and early morning hours of March 26th, 15 dogs and 1 cat were removed from a home by Berlin NH law enforcement after an 8 month investigation. The couple responsible for their care have each been charged with 44 counts of animal cruelty.
The Conway Area Humane Society, Conway NH, transported these animals to their facility to provide care.
All of the animals required some form of medical care, from routine vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries, to more serious needs such as parasite treatment, eye and skin infections and orthopedic or opthalmic surgeries.
44 days after taking them in, a judge awarded custody of all animals to CAHS.
Some of these animals have a variety of medical needs that need to be fixed before they can be adopted to homes.
CAHS is a non-profit shelter, we receive zero state or federal funding, all of the animals we help are because of donations. All homeless animals that come through our doors are helped because of you, because of your donations.

MRI ($1,500)
Entropion x3 (~$200-$400 each)
