Caheem's Funeral

 On Saturday, November 19th, 2016 we lost a brother, cousin, nephew, son and grandson Caheem "Clayshawn" Monteith. He was shot in the Jane and Finch community and unfortunately did not make it. Just last week November 8th he turned 17 and just wanted to have a dinner with his family over the weekend.  His grandfather just passed away in early December 2015 we just buried his grandfather in January but all we need and all we are asking for is the love and support of family and friends. Caheem was an inspiring basketball player who had goals of making it to the league. Everything revolved around basketball, it was his world, his passion. Caheem is the oldest of 4 children and he will be missed by many. We need to make his memory and legacy live on. Our goal is to make Caheem's soul be at rest and for the healing process to start. He will forever be in our hearts and minds. This gun violence needs to come to an end, how many families can endure this any longer?
