Blessing Bags

Hello everyone, my name is Deasha Barrett and I am a United States Navy veteran from Wilmington, Delaware. Being stationed overseas, I have been exposed to an array of cultures, allowing me to see first hand, third world country lifestlyes. From the moment, I came back to America from living and deploying overseas, I was heartbroken at the homeless population. Plain and simple, I want to help and I know we can come together as one.  

Friends, I need your help! As a team, I know we can be a blessing to people in need. The holiday season can be a reminder of failures, losses and disappointments. I need your help to remind people that a holiday can happen any day.

Our first goal, is to create 100 Blessing Bags filled with basic necessitities and a message of hope. Our mission is to let those in need know that their communities care and we are heeding the call. I will be delivering these Blessing Bags to a homeless shelter in the Wilmington, Delaware area on December 25, 2016.

Please help us help others. Our communities need our help! This is just a small way you can help us, so we can help them. Our goal is small, but our bigger dream is that the impact is so big that we spark a global movement of compassion. We appreciate any help you offer.
