College Tuition Fund

My name is Emily and I am currently a senior at Radford University majoring in Biology Pre-Medicine. My end goal is to become a Veterinarian and help pets and their families when in need. I'm about to start my last semester and am so close to graduation. However, I do not have the funds to pay for my next semester.  I have struggled to pay the university for the past three years but me and my parents have made it happen. Despite my grant and two loans supplied for next semester, I'm around $500 short of what I need. When I started this gofundme, I was not sure how much I would owe and I still need to buy my cap and gown, accouncements, etc. However, I will be more than happy to just pay my tuition. This year, I became a Resident Assistant on campus which entails keeping residents safe, helping them with class, homesickness and more. It's an important and stressful job and I am unable to work another job since the position is so much work on top of my schooling. As a Resident Assistant, I do not get paid directly so the job does not provide money for me to pay my fees. Last semester, I attempted to get another loan to pay the university. However, I was unable to get one even with both my parents as cosigners. Neither of them make much - my father is disabled and unable to work so my mother supports us. So, they can't do much to help me either. With that being said, I know I'll be unable to get a loan to pay for this semester and I am out of options. When I first started school, I knew money would be a problem but I refuse to give up my bachelor's degree one semester away from graduation.  I have acheived so much through school including publishing a paper, participating in research, presenting my research at Virginia Tech, interning in the field I want to have a career in and more. Despite these accomplishments, they do not convey as much as they would with my degree.  It would mean the world to me, even if someone donated a miniscule amount as anything will help.
