Help for Dante

This is Dante, a 9 yr old Doberman that has been a Blood Donor for an animal Hospital for several years, helping save the lives of sick dogs in need of blood.

Now Dante needs our help!!

 On May 16th he underwent a fairly simple surgery to remove several masses on his abdomen. On the 17th Dante was a very sick boy.

He was losing large amounts of blood, had severe swelling in 2 extremities, and was running a fever of 104.

If you know anything about Doberman's,  then you already know there is a bleeding disorder that all Dobermans should be tested for called Von Willebrand Disease. Dante has never had an issue before.

 But since the surgery  his blood counts are dropping rapidly.  He's had 3 bags of fresh plasma given, and we  have a fresh blood donor on standby if needed.

On May 22nd, Dante underwent a second surgery doctors felt was necessary to rule out an active bleeding spot, but unfortunately nothing was found.

Since Dante's mom Nicole who is a single girl with only one income and Dante is her "Whole World", she continues to fight for her boys life!!

Several expensive test have been sent to labs (results pending), and with hospitalization, including overnight care at an ER hospital, Blood transfusions, Plasma and medications,  bills have accumulated to more than Nicole can handle.
