Support The Safe House
Tax deductible
Since 1983, the Center for Family Violence Prevention (C4FVP) has devoted its energy to providing services for women and children who were victims of domestic violence. A "Safe House" is used as an emergency shelter for those escaping a violent home.
After 30 years at our old location we have been at capacity approximately 247 days each year for the past 3 years. This means there were days when we could not house victims and their children who were in need. To provide for their safety many victims have been sent to hotels or shelters in other surrounding counties, when space has been unavailable.
During the trauma of abuse, victims and their children need an accessible, safe and comfortable home in order to plan their futures free of violence.
With your patronage and support we will be able to relocate New Directions, our Safe House, to a new facility in 2016.
