Viridiana's Service Corp Funds

Hi, my name is Viri and I am 21 years old. I am currently a college student and an employee at The Salvation Army as the after school program assistant/youth pastor in Santa Cruz. Not only do I work there but I grew up going to this church.

I was recently accepted to be a part of The Salvation Army's Service Corp. Service Corp is a summer mission trip about 8 weeks long and I will be going to The Dominican Republic. The teams serve others by leading programs in schools, helping the church, feeding people and other evangelistic work. Applicants apply every year without knowing where they will be going. So this whole process relies on faith and trust that God will send us to a place where we will be needed and are gifts and talents will be used.

I grew up going to church so ever since I was young I have been passionate about helping others and I have always wanted to travel the world and do so. Just like Service Corp does. I am truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful experience. I’m excited to see what God has in stored for me on this trip. I know that during this trip I will not only learn more about God but about others and myself.

To make this possible I need to raise 1,500 before JUNE 5 This will pay for traveling and other expenses. I am asking, Will you be interested in helping me financially?Anything helps. But if you can't I would really appreciate your prayers for everybody who will go into this journey including myself.
